Shipping policy

1. Delivery Information & Delivery Charges

At Babyfair, we understand your excitement to receive your order, and many of our products are available with next day delivery, depending on your postcode area and if ordered before our cut-off time.

Cut-off Time for Next Day Delivery

  • Current Cut-off Time: 2pm
  • Orders placed before 2pm will be processed and dispatched the same day for next day delivery (subject to postcode area).
  • Please note that our 2pm cut-off time is subject to change, particularly during busy periods such as bank holidays and religious celebrations. Always check the relevant product page for the countdown confirming stock availability and next day delivery eligibility. Dispatch and Tracking

Once your order has been processed, you will receive a dispatch notification. This notification will include:

  • Tracking Number: A unique number for tracking your order.
  • Selected Courier: Information about the courier handling your delivery.

Note that once the courier has your order, we cannot amend or guarantee the delivery time. Unexpected delays may occur due to circumstances beyond the courier's control, for which we cannot offer compensation.

Delivery Timescales for Orders with Multiple Items

  • If an order contains items with different delivery timescales, the fulfilment time will be based on the item with the longest timescale.
  • All orders are consolidated into one consignment unless you request otherwise.

Split Deliveries

You can request in-stock items to be sent separately by paying a delivery charge to split the delivery.

Free Gifts and Delivery Delays

  • If your order includes a free gift with a delivery delay, we cannot split the order.
  • You may request the cancellation of the free gift to allow in-stock items to be dispatched immediately. Contact our customer service team to arrange this.

Nectar Mattress Delivery

  • Source: Dispatched directly from the supplier.
  • Lead Time: 3–5 working days.
  • Combined Orders: Please note that if you purchase a Nectar mattress alongside a bed frame, the mattress will arrive as a separate delivery from the frame.

Sleepeezee Mattress Delivery

  • Lead Time: Approximately 3–4 weeks.
  • Combined Orders: Please note if Sleepeezee mattress is ordered with a bed frame, the mattress will be delivered separately.

 

Below are the shipping times and charges for items dispatched from the Babyfair Warehouse. This excludes direct deliveries.


UK Mainland 

Standard Delivery

  • Charge: £5.99
  • Service: Standard delivery for all orders.
  • Standard delivery for bed orders: £49.00

Next Working Day Delivery

  • Charge: £5.99
  • Service: Available on IN-STOCK items if ordered before the cut-off time.

Scotland

Delivery Charge

  • Charge: £19.95 regardless of order value

Northern Ireland

Delivery Charge

  • Charge: £19.95 regardless of order value

Applicable Postcodes

  • Postcodes: All 'BT' postcodes.

2. Available Delivery Locations

We deliver to all postal areas in the UK, including:

  • England
  • Wales
  • Scotland
  • Northern Ireland

For security reasons, we cannot deliver to a BFPO address. We also reserve the right not to deliver orders if we believe the address is not secure, such as a communal postal address or PO Box. If this affects an order you place, we will notify you as soon as possible.


Regretfully, we are unable to offer any direct delivery service to Northern Ireland.

3. Delivery Lead Times & Delivery Status

Understanding delivery lead times and status is crucial to ensure a smooth shopping experience. Here’s a detailed guide to help you:

Next Day Deliveries

  • In Stock Items: These are items generally held in our warehouse.
  • Order Cut-off: If you place your order before 2pm, we can dispatch these items the same day.
  • Delivery Time: Your order should arrive the following working day, depending on your location.

Direct Deliveries

  • Supplier Dispatch: These orders come directly from our suppliers.
  • Lead Timescale: A lead time scale will be provided at the time of order.
  • Early Delivery: Occasionally, suppliers may deliver sooner than expected.
  • Delay Notification: If delays occur, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss options.
  • Courier Policies: As these are dispatched from our suppliers, courier policies may vary. Check the delivery disclaimer on the product page for specific details.

Delivery Timeframes

2-21 Working Days:

  • Availability: These products are available with the supplier and reserved for you.
  • Order Status: Your order status will show as "awaiting stock" until received in our warehouse.
  • Dispatch: Once received, the order will be dispatched on a standard delivery service.
  • Estimate Changes: Estimated delivery dates are subject to change.

Pre-Orders

  • Stock Availability: These products are not in stock with us or our suppliers but are expected soon.
  • Reservation: Placing an order reserves the product for the first shipment from the supplier.
  • Estimated Delivery: The supplier provides an estimated delivery date at the time of order.
  • Date Changes: Estimated delivery dates may change.

Delivery Timescales for Mainland UK

  • Standard Timescales: These timescales apply to Mainland UK.
  • Extended Timescales: Delivery outside Mainland UK may add up to 72 hours.

Delivery Updates and Tracking

  • Dispatch Notification: You will receive an update once your order is dispatched.
  • Tracking Information: Tracking details will be provided by us or, for direct deliveries, by our suppliers and their couriers.

Peak Delivery Notice

Please note that due to the significant volume of orders over Peak season, customers should anticipate potential minor delays to their delivery date.

4. Packaging Policy

At babyfair, we prioritise environmental sustainability and efficiency in our packaging practices. Here’s how we manage our packaging:

Environmental Commitment

Recycled/Replacement Packaging: To reduce waste, we may use recycled or replacement packaging if the original box is damaged or if goods from the manufacturer arrive in a single carton containing multiple pieces.

  • Content Accuracy: Please note that the contents inside may differ from the description shown on the outer carton due to our use of recycled or replacement packaging.
  • Combining Shipments: Where possible, we combine products in one shipment to minimise the number of packages dispatched to you.

Important Considerations

  • Checking Your Order: We encourage you to thoroughly check inside the parcel for the goods ordered before contacting us. This ensures that you receive the correct items.
  • Refusal of Parcel: We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. (Terms and Conditions apply). You can always contact us for any return questions at support@baby-fair.co.uk.


5. International Shipping

  • Domestic Only: We do not ship outside the UK.
  • Alternative Shipping Address: For international customers, we recommend shipping to a friend or relative's address within the UK.
  • Payment Methods: International credit or debit cards may not be accepted. We recommend using PayPal for these purchases.

6. Collection of Data

  • Required Information: For processing orders, Babyfair requires your email address, phone number, and other personal information such as your name and address.
  • Optional Provision: Providing personal and identifiable information is optional, but essential for order delivery and certain services.
  • Service Limitation: Without specific information, it may not be possible to provide certain services, such as delivering your order.

6. Delivery Access

  • Your order will be delivered by a one-person delivery service.
  • Delivery is to the hallway of your property only.
  • The driver is not insured to enter your premises and cannot deliver beyond the hallway.
  • For deliveries to flats or apartments, please note that items will be delivered to the ground floor only.
